| Kanchanaburi | 3 Pagoda Pass Posted: Thu March 25, 2004 01:21 PM UTC
Has anyone been to the Three Pagoda Pass? I would like to know whether it is possible to do it as a day excursion by train from Kanchanaburi or Nakhon Pathom.

Yes done it twice, along day, start from Kan at 6am return Kan 7pm but can visit Mon temple, longest wooden bridge in Thailand,Burmese market at village and at 3 Pagoda Pass and call at hot springs and or Krasea cave temple and death railway.
My friend Panalee can sort out all the transport as well as teach you Thai cooking when you arrive back in Kanchanaburi.,she will not rip you off!!! She speaks good English and can be contacted within Thailand at 0925 90107 or 0066 925 90107 if you can get a good connection
