| Battambang | TRAIN FROM BATTAMBANG TO PP Posted: Sat March 20, 2004 07:24 PM UTC
Has anybody done the train from BB TO PP.
I believe it is a 14 hour marathon on hard seats. I also understand it only runs every other day, how do we find out in advance what days it is running???? |

I would suggest to travel bus than the train. Buses departing Battambang for PP are frequent and rather comfortable.
Check out my Cambodia travel page.

This is much to late to help you but may be helpful to others. The train is still running as of April 2007, but only runs on Saturdays up from P.P. to B.B. and down again on Sunday from B.B. Leaves at 6.40 a.m.We only intended to take it as far as Pursat and even then had to get off before as in 5 hours we had only covered 60/70 kms. If you have the time it is a great experience. See my pages on the train for photos.
