saturday 27, i will go to giravaru but someone told me that it isn't such a good place!!
i don't care about it but........ is it true that there are so many planes overflying the isle? how is the sea?this is my first time in Maldives. please give me some information about it . and if you can, some photo!! this is my first time in this site, vary good guys!! ciao tu everybody from andrea(reggio emilia -italy) |

sit back & relax, the sea cannot be else than wonderful, nothing to share with italian one of course :-) It could happen ur resort (i do not know it) is not state of the art but who cares ? it's all about the natural life. Take some books with you, this could help spending relaxing afternoon under the sun Ciao !!!! Mauro

Maldives is simply a paradise on earh. And Giravaru is really nice destination. I have been there myself in January this year and it was simply wonderful. Yeah its not a five star resort but still it has much to offer. I am sure you would not be disappointed. Sea totally depends on weather. When weather is rough then sea could be very rough otherwise it would be nice and calm. Check out my Giravaru page for more details and photos. I went with my (now) wife in 2000 and its still my favourite memory of the Maldives. Very small island which is a big plus (have been to bigger islands but none feel as isolated and private as Giravaru).
Beaches are beautiful and I dont remember any aeroplanes flying overhead. Go and enjoy, you won't regret it.

I am packing my things as I am leaving tomorrow for Giravaru hotel in Maldive. Can you tell me if sea towels are provided by the hotel or if it's better to bring them? Thanks, Moorea
