I am currently living about 20 minutes NE of Grecia, Costa Rica. I have traveled to Panama on several occasions and am considering moving to Boquette for several months to see how I like it there.
Would it be better to wait until the rainy season, assuming there are "snowbirds" leaving Boquette during that time of year and more homes available and possibly even a house sit? Warmest regards, Bill |

I think NOW it's a good moment to go, from april to november is the rainy season, and the children has no school holidays.

Bill I was in Boquette in Feb 2005,we helped my brother John Latham move in a really nice rental house there.I have not heard from him in over a year and I am really worried.His health is not great.I do realize this is asking alot but when you get to Boquette,Panama please ask around the english speaking establishments to see if he is still around and give him my new email?There is a motel resturant that is almost downtown on the left on the creek that has a dinner I beleive every thursday nite and it is fantastic you must go to this.You have to be there a day or two in advance to make a reservation.Awesome dinner its like 5 or 6 courses with drink and is very cheap and cooked right there.The owners are I beleive American and his wife is from Boquette.
