Aranyaprathet Travel Forum

Hi, I'm looking for a friend of mine who is from Aranyaprathet - her name is Savitree Somboonsok - Noi is her nickname she has a little boy who would be school age. She has a sister nickname Nat and had two brothers one who died when he was 35, in the early 1990's. Her father died close to this time as well - he was a major in the army and lived on the base in aranyaprathet. Her mother was still alive when I knew Noi. She had married a New Zealander but had divorced and last I had heard she had moved to Australia but she possibly had gone back to Aranyaprathet. When she was in Aranyaprathet she had a bit of land and grew flowers and other plants and paid by the hour instead of by the amount which apparently was an extremely rare thing to do - I remember her telling me she was friends with the mayor of the town and if I went back with her she could try to get a job for me with him or her uncle who also had some land and grew plants etc for places like where we met in christchurch new zealand making up potpourri parcels etc. I miss Noi heaps and wish that she didn't have to disappear in such difficult circumstances - if anyone is able to help in some way as getting some info to someone official in Aranyaprathet - to get in touch even with her mother or brother so I can find out where she is I would appreciate it hugely Her name again is Savitree Somboonsok (not sure on the last name spelling but sounds exactly as it looks.
