from Hurgada to Cairo

hey,
I would like to know whether there is any connection from Hurgada to Cairo (bus?), how much does it cost?
How much is the cheapest stay in Hurgada?
I am asking because I've got to get to Cairo in September and I found that I could take a cheaper flight (chartered one) but only to Hurghada. I am wondering whether it's a problem to get from there to Cairo...
It's very important to me...

There are buses from Hughada to Cairo, unfortunately I don't have a price for you, but it does a number of hours, probably about 6 or 7hours to get there. Our bus took 7 hours but we got held up by guards and then we took a lunch break.
The Tour Egypt site says many travel operators won't book just bus alone without a tour but they did recommend this particular operator who might be able to do that for you:

I know about your question! Here in Holland they offered an 8 day trip to Hurghada including Hotel for just 99 euro! Take that and take the bus to Cairo and/or Luxor take a cruise and it will save you so much money!!

Takes a bit longer but costs much less!

Superjet has a bus that leaves at 2pm & 5pm, arrives in Cairo 6-7 hours later. It costs about LE55. Better still, take the less frequent Gouna bus- which is in much better condition and costs that same price. There are cheap places to stay in El-Dahar district, think I paid LE25 last time.

Thanks for all your answers... Yeah, I forgot to mention that I meant the regular connection (that the Egyptians take) not the one with tour operator:)) As to the booking the trip in travel agency:)) well, that's not really what I am looking for... I am not interested in that kind of tourism at all (staying in a hotel etc) beside - as I said: I don't want to stay in Hurghada but only get through that town to Cairo. Saving money? Well, Egypt is cheap, anyway... Last time I paid 350 EUR for a month in Egypt!!!!!!!!!(including the flight, a visa, souvenirs, visiting Luxor, Cairo, Alexandria, Al Minya, Assyut...). Still, it's quite a lot of money in Poland- and almost 300 EUR was spent on the flight!!! (that's why I want to cut out on the flight). I've got the accommodation for free- cause my sister's there:)))

Hi, i was in hurghada last month and caught the bus to cairo, just go to the bus station and they will give you a time and it costs only 50LE, i was the only tourist on the bus with my egyptian husband, and the bus was air conditioned and very comfortable, they even give you juice and a cake. It took 6 hours and we stopped a couple of times for refreshments.
