DIVING IN FLORIANOPOLIS 6-7 MARCH

Hi,

I'(maarten from Gent, Flanders)'ll be in Florianopolis next week, and intend to dive... unfortunately I cannot find information on the internet...

Any hints?

Best places for diving in Florianópolis are in Ilha do Campeche and Reserva Biológica Marinha do Arvoredo (Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve).

check my page on Bombinhas and you will have an idea of what is diving in the Arvoredo Reserve... unfortunately I have no underwater pics...

Maarten,
You can rent a car in Floripa and drive around, but I would recommend to hire somebody to drive you around. Driving in Floripa is a bit crazy, and most car rentals have a very high deductible for any damage on the car (even if it happened while parked).
Last time I went to Floripa y hired a local that took me around the whole day in his car, for just a bit more that would have cost me to rent a car, but with the advantage that he showed me places that I wouldn't have found as a turist. On the other hand, to don't have any responsability for whatever happens to the car.
