I prefer Friday but of course not sure what happen in April/May.

My friend tried the Japanese rest at Peking Rd 1 but she got stomache after. Not sure other rest. Most are Chinese rest. I try "Chiu Lau" that at Causeway Bay and just ok.

Not sure whether still have firework by that time. If yes, Peking Rd 1 is a good place for dinner and see the firework. Make sure to book the window seat.

Cheers,
April

Hi Viv, Friday nite dinner 30 April looking good for me. There you go. Finally a male response!!

Prefer HK Island but must admit that new restaurant (Aqua) on top floor at 1 Peking Rd has spectacular views even if the food (Japanese/Italian - strange mix) is so so.

Hello David, long time no see!

I have a lot of travel recently but I would like to join if I am in Hong Kong. Friday is also good.
Yep, Aqua is a great place and I've been there a few times. It now serves Italian food and I tell you guys a secret.....Aqua and the restaurants on the few uppermost floors in No.1 Peking Rd are owned by the same group. And so is Wasabisabi in Times Square......(^__^). ALL are very stylish places and worth to go!

Aqua sound like a great place to party!!!

Recently opened in the penthouse of One Peking Road, this newest venture by the people who brought us Aqua in Central offers Italian and Japanese food with spectacular views from 21 foot windows. Upstairs from Aqua Roma and Aqua Tokyo is Aqua Spirit where hanging beads and purple couches provides lush surroundings for drinking and lounging to the music provided by Djs and VJs

Hey Vivian,

Gotta mind you AquaRoma & AquaTokyo at 29/F requires a minimum charge of $380 EACH while the bar AquaSpirit at the 30/F requires $120 as minimum EACH also. Since this restaurant is highly recommended recently by several magazines, early booking is recommended.

Fish Fish: the fireworks show at the harbour already changed to several light beams/laser emitted from the top of skyscrapers, it's still nice though.

Cheers,
Ev
