This island is on the high end in terms of costs for accomodations and food.

Not much different really price wise, but totally different in atmosphere compared to other islands and by far my new favorite. Depending on where you eat or sleep will dictate the price. There are many lodging facilities and places to eat that are reasonable. If you need help on these let me know. If you want the more expensive I can also guide you there. The island is beautiful and make sure to explore all of it. The beaches are UNREAL and the the people are very friendly. I can't emphasize enough though how different it is from other caribbean islands. If you want action, take the ferry over to St. Martins. If you want tranquility stay on Anguilla...Relax. Lodging depending on time runs from around $125. per night & up, food is all over the board. If you opt for fine dining (several restaurants for this) expect to pay $150. & more for two & thats without drinks. If you pull over to native home cooking on road side stands, you can get good meal for around $10.00. Also many smaller local restaurants offer inexpensive food & very good. Always expect to pay for water. If you want to shop locally expect to pay higher prices. They do have some very talented artists on the island and you can buy prints for reasonable price. The homemade goat soap was good deal at about $2.00 a bar. The local drug stores offer good prices on T's and things like that. Hope this helps & don't hestitate to email me with any other questions.

I think it is much more expensive than some other Caribbean countries....but you can't beat the experience! Save your money and go!
