I've found out why East Yorkshire doesn't exist on the new VT. The county of Humberside ceased to exist in 1996. The area to the North of the Humber is again known as East Yorkshire.

It's more important than you think - my Granny never forgave the government for changing it so 2 of her grandchildren have Humberside on their birth certificates.
Anyway, as it is called East Yorkshire people checking for tips on VT may not be able to find anything. Rachel p.s. I realise that there is a lot of work to do on the new VT so I'm not complaining too loudly - just thought everyone should know.

LOL, you should grumble Rachel - I just found that my county - Durham - doesn't seem to exist on VT at all, only the City does. Guess it confused them having a county and a City of the same name.

Strangely enough the Post Office seem to use 3 names for the area.
- North Humberside - East Yorkshire - East Riding of Yorkshire Perhaps VT should use all 3 ! PJ
