Can I rent a car from Copenhagen or perhaps Malmo for one day.

OUr party of four would like to drive from Copenhagen to Karlskrona where we will catch the ferry to Poland

Why don't you take the train from Copenhagen or Malmo - it goes straight to Karlskrona.

One thing to consider, you will have to get a taxi to the ferry - it's too far to walk from the town in Karlskrona

How come you'll go from Karlskrona??? Just curious as there are so many other alternatives to go from Copenhagen to Poland. Both direct ferry and the ones from Ystad in Sweden...

And yes...I too would take a train. The "Kustpilen" ones go straight through as already said and they are only SEK 176 (I think it is) one way right now if bought in a ticket machine or on internet.

I think Hertz has an option of renting a car in one country and leaving it in another. Try www.hertz.dk or www.hertz.se.

However, I agree with the others: why don't you take the train?
