Republic of Montenegro	Is there really a train from Podgorica to Shkodra? One word NO!! There are railway tracks but no train. Take taxi to village of Tuzi ( crossing) cross over and pick up furgons to Shkodra on the other side.
There are bus/ furgons twice daily from Ulcinj to Shkoder, but you need to go south..
Unfortunately these are your two only options...

We did it the other year by bus Podgorica - Ulcinj and a few days later we took the twice daily bus from there to Shkoder. It was a normal big bus. I think it cost about 6 Euro. In Shkoder a minibus was waiting for those who wanted to continue to Tirana.
