Need advise

Hi all,

I'll be staying at Alhambra Hotel located ( Bloomsbury and soho) in June. Would like to know nearby if there's any supermarket?
And from our hotel how to go to Thomas Land?
Another thing as I'll be going to Paris and back to London again. May I know how to get the tax refund? As I'm planning to buy branded bags.

Here's a list of supermarkets, food shops, cafes, takeaway food places, etc in the vicinity of King's Cross

To get to Thomasland (part of Drayton Park near Tamworth Staffs) you need to take the train from Euston to Tamworth. The park is about 3 miles from the station - I'm sure there'll be buses running from the station to the park, if not- a taxi will get you there. Here's Journey Planner nad bboking site

Buying your tickets in advance and online will save you a bunch of money.

You claim your VAT refund at your LAST point of exit from the EU, so for anything you buy in Paris you will have to get the forms you need from wherever you shop there but make your claim as you leave the UK. You must have the goods on you when you go to make the claim - DO NOT pack them in your luggage and check in and then go to the Customs desk!

It doesn't matter how many EU countries you shop in, all your refund claims must be made at your final exit point.

This site gives you about as much advice as you will find on the net on the business of VAT returns, finding it isn't easy!
