Beijing Ski & attractions recommendations ...

i intend to go Beijing this October. I would like to go skiing.
1)Can anybody recommend a good ski resort as I believe there are many in Beijing.
2)Is skiing in Beijing good?
3) can I ski in October?
4) Besides skiing, the forbidden palace & great wall, any attractions worth visiting?
I prefer action type of travel such as white water rafting, diving, etc …

Yunfoshan ski in miyun county or Jundushan ski in Changping county
2)Is skiing in Beijing good?
Not bad
3) can I ski in October?
No, you can't, ski starts at the end of November

Summer palace, Temple of heaven.
I prefer action type of travel such as white water rafting, diving, etc … Thanks
