Pulau Redang trip in March,12 Posted: Thu February 9, 2012 11:43 AM UTC
Hi All,
We have planned to visit Pulau Redang in Mid March,12.
Actually we are making our own trip plan,Not going with any travel agent.
Will mid march be a bad time?
Also is it safe to go only 2 persons?

I've been there march of three years ago, it's been fine, there were still strong currents.
you can go to jetty and get your ferry, just have your accomodation booked.

So can't we do snorkelling at that time? :(
Actually we are going to celebrate our anniversary. :) So date can't be changed.
We will book our hotel online.We are indian.But they are asking payment in ringgit.So can we use our credit card for booking?

There should not be a problem in using your credit card. They will charge the amount in ringgits to your card but it will be converted on your card statement to Indian ruppees.
My card provider always shows the rate of exchange applied and any additional charges where they are also payable.

I did scuba dives and you can also snorkel there but be informated where and when [at what time] to go if youi want to go on your own.

I don't know swimming.So I can't do Scuba.Definitely I will go with Guide for snorkelling.
But my question is..If strong current exists at that time ,then will we be able to see those beautiful underwater scenery? :)
Also want to know is there any possibility to reach terenganu in early morning?
If someone want to board the Air Asia morning flight(8:20 AM) then what to do?
Need your valuable suggestion.

if you can't swimm just do what the guides there will say
about the flight I'm afraid you better go to Kuala Terrenganu the afternoon before, too early flight, you should be at airport earlier, airport is a little bit far from airport and there's trafic among the way in the morning

We have successfull completed our trip. Still living in dream of Redang Island.
