getting to genting from sentral or kl lcct

Hi arriving KL LCCT at 1330hrs by air asia. I know busses can take you to gentings but the time table says depart KL LCCT @ 1530 arrive genting 1600Hrs for RM35.00 per pax so thats a two hour lay over at LCCT.

I was thinking of getting the bus to Sentral then another to genting better time tables from Sentral. Does the bus take you to the resorts?? we are staying at the first world resort and how do we get there if the bus does not go to the resorts. It seems the busses stop at the lower genting?? am I correct. we will have suitcases X2 and hand luggage.

Not a direct answer to your question but, once you've got your luggage and passed through immigration, it'll be at least 1400hrs. Then you'll need to find the bus stand for Sentral (RM9 per person) and wait until the bus is full before it departs. It takes about 45-50 minutes to get into Sentral and then you'll have to unload your luggage (yourself) and then find your bus to Genting. While at LCCT you could find somewhere for a meal and then board your bus directly to Genting at your leisure. It might be worth the wait.

I agree to a point. Having been to LCCT a few times I know where the busses are and also its not much of a hassel in Sentral also. The benifit is that I'm already 1 hour into my trip to genting if I leave from Sentral at around 1500hrs-1530hrs where I would still be at LCCT waiting for that bus to fill up also. I was wondering if there is a direct bus to the resorts without having to change at the bottom of genting.
