I will have a long lay over in Negombo. I've been to Negombo quite few times, but never had a great look of the town. Is there a few hours tour? Otherwise, is there anything to do? I will be staying somewhere on Lewis Place, and I wasn't so impressed with small number of shops there...
Any ideas? |

Hello,
Yes there are comethings you can do. If you want to shop you can go to Negombo town which a few kms from Lewis Place. Don't expect big shopping like Colombo. You can then see 2 big churches close to the town and you can also go to the jetty where the fishing boats come back from sea. If you have time you can hire one of them and head out to see.
