I stayed in Jumeirah Beach Hotel, near Burj, and I visited thet hotel. It is built for rich Arab sheiks, not form common people. My opinion is too much money for spending the night there. Bed is only bed, no matter how much the room cost.

I saw a documentary on Discovery last week. It's an amazing hotel! The room rate? US$800 min. for a night & the suite is about US$9500!
The decor? Fantastic!
The main architect/designer? A Chinese lady! Quite amazing, considering it's in Middle East.
One day, if I'm lucky, I might just stay there for the experience :-)))

Hi !

I have been to Wild Wadi Water park in Dubai which is just few meters from the enterance road of Hotel Al Burj but actually the hotel is built inside the SEA. Everyone or visitors without the booking in the hotel can not go for a ride on that road (bridge) which connects main land and the hotel inside the sea.

I thin^k it is one of the amazing modern architectures which i ahve till now in all the 16 countries mashAllah i have been to.

Are you going there? You see this !

Umer.

i have visited the hotel but have not stayed there i think we had to pay for just the visit. It's definitly an amazing hotel, gr8 architecture, but i don't think it's worth spending money to stay there for a night i find the rooms and colors too bright. Like dark blue, red, purple, and Gold to have a good sleep. Maybe dine there but that's it. Plus there are other very very good hotels in the region that u'll find satisfying enough. :-)

I think waffs is right, there are so many great hotels in Dubai that to pay the extra money to stay at Burj al Arab probably isn't worth it. We didn't stay there but had a guided tour of the hotel, and it's sensational. It's really worth visiting.

Yes! It's a spectacular hotel. Make sure you go on a desert safari while you're visiting!

I have not stayed in the hotel but I have visited and had a drink at the resturant in the top of the Burj.
the cost has been considerable however if you want to see the Burj from inside, it's more cheep to visit the burj in this way instead of staying in the hotel. the decoration has been fantastic , unfortunatly my digital camera which is always with me has been left in my hotel when I was visiting the Burj.
