Travelling to hua hin via bangkok?

Hi
i am planning to go bangkok on 2 dec and then to hua hin ...so i want to know that will it be a safe place to go because i have to land on bagkok's airport first and also what is the status of AMARI hotel in bagkok ...that hotel is also under flood or not?...
basically i worried about the situation which is there and i want ot know whether i should go there or not on first week of december?

Hua Hin will be fine and it's safe to go. there are several Amari hotels in Bangkok like there are Holiday Inns in Washington D.C., but I believe all of them are above ground at the moment. I think the Amari watergate is the one near a canal and it has to be monitor for flooding, but the other in sukhimvit area should be fine. Do not worry unless they close the airport. Come on down and destress than compress. Don't worry, be happy....you'll be fine.

By the time the 2nd of December comes around I would think much of the flood water may have gone. If me I would still take the chance because most of your holiday is spent down in Hau Hin which is not affected by the floods.

So I would go.
