The only person who has success here is the original person who started this business. The rest will never make money on this. Drop the idea and do not waste any money here.

It's not a "job", it's a scam.

But of course you won't listen to us...

" A one-time set up cost and a small monthly membership fee gives you access to vacations that offer unique experiences at prices you can’t find anywhere else. Members typically save the price of their membership within their first two trips."

It sounds like a scam. Look up/ Google Cybertravel UK - I was involved in a Neighbourhood Watch issue that looked-into and got refunds for some unwary punters back in 2000-2001 I think it was.

You pay money to join then get "exclusive holiday offers" = except in the case of Cybertravel the deals were availael anywhere.

If the one-time cost is $10 - fine - give it a go. If they want $1000, $2000, $3000 then walk-away NOW

Ive just looked into it a bit and found that they use Rovia web site for bookings. I put-in a week in Benidorm flying out of BHX on 30th December and it came up with a few holidays (1 week 2 adults) for $739 cheapest up to $1400 - PER PERSON.
I can get 6 months in Benidorm for that!

OK they say its 4 or 5-star hotels/resorts but SO DID CYBERTRAVEL UK metioned above.

Their program costs $200 then $55 per month.
(that is $860 for the first year)
THEN they want you to sign-up 4 other people and you get your paymets paid for you.
Bit like a pyramid scheme?
Sounds dcidedly fishy to me.

If you want a holiday - buy a holiday not a holiday club membership.

IN MY OPINION........!

It's not "LIKE" a pyramid scheme. It IS a pyramid scheme, plain and simple.

Do yourself a favor, and Google "World Ventures Scam", and inform yourself. This a a form of a Pyramid sceme, and they work best when they organize "conferences", to jack up the enthusiasm, with clever spiels.

A fool and his money..........d:o)

Seriously, do not be sucked into this. Really!

The World Ventures has a B- rating with the local Better Business Bureau (Dallas), primarily because there have been 49 complaints in the last three years. However, a lot of them appear to have been resolved.

They appear to sell a type of timeshare through an Amway or Tupperware model. They make their money, I suspect, because they sell a subscription that you may or may not be able to take advantage of in each year. I don't know that this qualifies as a "scam" so much as a business in which you will upset a number of people because they will want their annual contract back because they couldn't travel this year or they won't be satisfied with the promised savings because the best savings aren't at a place you would want to go.

In a way, this is like the timesharing craze - sell people shares in something that they may or may not be able to use every year, but you (the business) collect money every year no matter what.

It's not a business I'd want to be in, even if it's not a scam...that is, I don't think it's a scam so much as a high-pressure sales business model that I wouldn't want to be part of...

Kathy, you're from around here (Richardson/Dallas), does that make sense to you?

Bill

at least with Tupperware or Amway you get something for your dollars - a plastic box or a load of soap - but a Hiliday club? You get "Access to a website"
Wow - big deal.

Oddly enough, when I was in my dry cleaners a few minutes ago, I saw a card on the cash register from an independent consultant for World Ventures. I asked the owner what he thought, and the immediate response was "multi-level marketing", by which he meant high-pressure sales environment on multiple levels - you make money when you sign others up.

Anyway, you now have a pretty good idea of what it is and whether or not you'd like to be part of such a system - I wouldn't, but high-pressure in a sales situation makes me automatically want to say "no" and walk away...

Did you know that the world headquarters is right here in Plano?

Bill

Excellent advice, I did some research immediately and found that they really were not competitive. They offer 69.00 cruises now and a 7 day guarantee that if you find a cheaper price, they give u the trip for free.

Hey, shall we all get free trips?? How cool would that be??.......lol

Cruises for sixty nine bucks? Does'nt even pay for the paperwork. Can you not see the lack of logic here?

Appears that the first responder was right, - you are not going to listen to us......d:o/

I wasn't falling for them at all, I thought this forum might help if anyone knew about it or it could help others.

No need to insult someone you don't know.
