Cheap short term ( month) apartment/hotel in Harbin?

We're going to Harbin for about three months and need to find an apartment/hotel to stay in for the duration. The closer to local prices the better as we're on a very strict budget. Twin share or similar. We don't speak Chinese, we just started learning. Is there anywhere you can think of that we can rent for one month at a time perhaps?

Try doing a craigslist search, if that doesn't work go into the city expats websites and make a inquiry. Usually any university center knows where to find cheap housing. If all doesn't work, go to airbnb web site and maybe stay with a family in their apartment for a while.....good luck

Hello, I hope you had a good time in Harbin. Now I'm curious if you find a good, clean and wellpriced place to stay for three months. I'm going this summer July/August 2012 and I would be interested in getting any good hints or adresses. Thank you very much for your anwser and kind regards.
