Hi everybody,
I'm looking for a restaurant near Delft that is quite peculiar. I've never been there but one of my friends told me that it looks like an auberge from the Middle-Age and meals are served without forks or knives. She told me that the floor is plain ground. It seems very cool but I dont know the address since my friend has lost it.
Have u heard about this restaurant? If yes, does anybody knows the address? Another friend of mine would like to get there and get the address too.

How are you Isabelle.I just read your qeustion about Delft,I was born in that city , but I did not know about this Herberg (name for restaurant)

yes, I've looked at the website. Looks nice. There are several places like this in NL.
Never been to one though. I think the most fun is with a larger group.

I am the brother of waalewiener and I live in Delft. It is a beautiful town appr. 95000 inh. and the one reaction you have got from on of the repliers is absolute right. the restaurant is called "the Mol", it is about 500 jr. old and is renovated 20 jr. ago and is completely left in the old setting, It is furnated with wooden benches and if you ever saw the pictures of "Brueghel" it is exactly the same setting.

Ok I am Waalewiere"s Brother Willem (pawimzelf) and I live my hole 63 years in Delft, But Hans (waalewiener) must know that there is a Herberg likely restaurant IN Delft "The Mol"it is famous all around and Yes you can Eat there Breugeleaans, that is what they done in the medieval periode. In the restaurant are tree different levels, downstairs is the big table for c.a. 20 people all trough each other or big groups, upstairs is a little more privacy, All weekends they present somekind as a music show of that periode , singing and dancing, also there are walking around some chickens and some other animals and there is a "nar". It is regular this show in season, I think, the food you are alouth to eat with your hands, or a little more civalised., with the useal tools.The adress is Molslaan 104 2611RP Delft tel. 0031152121343.
