Asia Buying A House

Has anyone got any experience buying a villa/beach house or apartment in Thailand ?

I am looking for a long term investment and would appreciate any advice.

i read that foreigners are not allowed by law to own property in thailand...

hi, the laws may change but at the moment i believe that you will have to lease property on the 30 year rule, unless you marry a thai and then it would still belong to the thai person and not you. les
