Hello everybody!! I'm going to go in the next days to Kaiserslautern, but I will arrive via Frankfurt airport. And so, which is the cheapest way for arriving to K'lautern from Frankfurt? Train?, perhaps bus or renting a car?

The train is really easy from Frankfurt to Kaiserslautern. Just a couple of hours. You can catch the S-Bahn from the Flughafen to the Hauptbahnhof and then purchase a ticket from there. Good luck. Bill.

I would recommend the train ( www.bahn.de ) to Mannheim Hauptbahnhof; takes about 40 minutes - direct from the airport, and then there should be enough trains heading on to Kaiserslautern, from Mannheim about 1 hour.

Hi,
like the others b4 I guess the train is the best opinion. It needs for that 110 km about 1.5 to 2 hours and the ticket will cost U 27 Euros (one way).
