Travel from Rotterdam to Delft

Hello,
I will be arriving in Rotterdam for one day only and would like to
take public transport from the port in Rotterdam to Delft. Can you help
with the stations I'll need to depart from and go to? How many hours
will I need with transport (really short on time this day).

I take you arrive by cruise ship at the Rotterdam Passenger Terminal at the Wilhelminakade. From there you can walk towards the bridge and at the bridge take tram 25 to the Rotterdam Central Station.

From the Rotterdam Central Station take the train to Delft.

Trevel times:
Walking to the tram: 10 minutes
Tramride: 10 minutes
Getting the train: 10 minutes
Trainride: 15 minutes
Walking into Delft: 5 minutes

If you are lucky, your total travel time is less than an hour.

Welcome to Rotterdam and Delft. PJ and Pijlmans already gave you advice. It's an easy and short trip and there are many trains per hour.

Instead of the tram, you may prefer to choose the metro from Wilhelminaplein, which is inside the tall buildings next to the tram stop.

Both with metro and tram, the last stop is always Central Station so you can't miss it.
Be prepared that Central Station itself looks like nothing these days. A new one is being built so there's a lot of building activity going on there but it doesn't interfere with travel in any way.
