The value of living for tourists in Lithuania per day
Not including transportation and hotels

It depends what you want...If you want to eat in restaurant you'll spend aprox. from 3 euros( day offer) and up for you meal. Some fast food in the street kiosk would be about 3 euros, too. Coffee and tea is about 1-2 euros. Beer the same. Wine or some other drinks will start at 2 euros. Drinking water in supermarket(1.5l bottle) is about 0.6-1 euro. Fruits(1kg)0.8-2 euros, if won't wish something exotic. Pack of cigarrettes about 2 euros. If you are eco fan- food in ecoshops is some 20-30% more expensive than in ordinary supermarket.
There might be problems for vegetarians and or people on special diet in some smaller caffees and bars. Because we are meat-eaters in Lithuania and our food is rather thick. But it's possible to find some meniu in bigger restaurants or healthy food bars.

Remigia is right, these prices are in most of cities, Klaipeda too. Internet use in tourist information center costs less than 1 euro per hour.
I eat lunch for about 5 - 7 euro in restaurants in the main old town squere, dinner, including at least one beer and coffee and desert - 10 -15 euro. But you can find really cheaper places in old town too.
Public transportation is not expencive, something like 0,8 - 1,0 euro per bus ride.

We had been in Kaunas and Vilnius for about 8 days on a Roots trip
It was my first time in this area
I enjoyed the place and the food
wonderful people
great Weather and the living is not expensive
Recommended I'll be back
