Bayan-Olgiy Aymag Crossing the russian border with horses

I’m actually planning an horse trip in central Asia which must start in Mongolia and finish in Kirghizistan. We want to cross the Mongolian border toward Russia north Olgy. We would like to have information about border crossing with horses. What kind of paper or permit we need for the horses to cross the border.

You are not allowed to enter Russia from Mongolia on a horse. If I remember well, you have to take the train, because Mongolia doesn't let foreigners other than Russians cross that border on anything else than a train.

Ivery impressed your idea to traveling Mongolia-Kyrgissatn with horse. I don't know exactly the law, however I would suggest you that use a different horses each country you go to. in another words, until Mongolian border with then, I know that you cross the bordedr to russian with feet(walk) Then find another horse. So you don't have get those papers.
By the way, I have some friends(including some film makers) who would love this, if you want I will ask them. Dream up.
