Hi Im coming to Barbados the first week in August.
Can anybody suggest anything to do other than the usual attractions? I like sport - mainly football and cricket. Will there be any games to watch ? Any other suggestions please ? Thanks Bren |

For some really great surf...get yourself over to the East coast in the Bathsheba area maybe..in my mind this is the best scenery Barbados has to offer..You'll find some fun little Rum Shacks to enjoy.

if you are here for August 1st, I'd suggest you take part in our CropOver Grand Kadooment (think Mardi Gras Parade, with costumes etc). There will be other things to attend before and after that day as well.
Rihanna will also be in concert on the 5th of August at Kensington Oval.. so while you will not see a Cricket Match.. you will be in the home of Cricket in Barbados. Check out Barbados.org or TotallyBarbados.com and see if you can find any listing as to things that might be going on during that time period.
