Well, I can't believe what a wonderful bunch of VTers you are! I asked a number of you to help out with a video project for VT - to help me learn new skills! Well, that was a small fib!

I was just thinking, perfect, going to uk in June 2012 for the 10th anniversary of meeting my other half on a VT meet in London(as brits were doing the annocement, I though that it would be in UK) to find myself checking flights to Italy!!!

ok now I wonder, if Euromeet 2005 was near Bergamo (around 200km), Does it mean we should look a place 200km from Marbella (Euromeet 2006) for the Euromeet of 2013? ;-)

Great job Gillian! Was so excited to see where it was - I have been dying for an excuse to get back to Italy and then....I saw the dates. Have already booked a trip starting June 2nd so it looks like Italy will have to wait a little longer. Maybe we'll make Euromeet in 2013??!!

Bergamo here I come

Bergamo might be doable for me - it's not far from Milan and I want to go to Milan someday. But whether I go or not depends on whether or not I decide to go to Seville next spring...

As for Carmen's suggestion - how far is Seville from Marbella?

I think it's about time I made it to another Euromeet! Italy sounds wonderful! How far is Bergamo from Brindizi? I might just put my car on the boat and hop on over for some funand frolics and my first time in Northern Italy. Great video Gilly!

<sigh> I've got a friend getting married the first week of June next year.... in the Philippines. Unless I can hurry up and work on that split personality thing I don't think I can make it to both.

Hello Dave! Bergamo is made up of two parts. The old one and a newer part. I think there is a swimming pool in the new area. The old part of the town is small, but very nice.

@ Janet. Bergamo is very far from Brindisi.

I'll be signing up. I was planning on going to Lake Como with my friends next week, but unfortunately I've had to cancel...(owing to my ill health ATM)so this will be a wonderful alternative for next year.
