You may want to contact the Spanish Napoleonic Assotiation (web page: http://www.asocne.org/, E-Mail: asocnapoleonica@terra.es). They have information about the event you are looking for , but I'm afraid only in Spanish.
You may want to see too the poster of the event http://www.asocne.org/cartcornna2004/cartcornna_2004.JPG

Thanks for your help.
I have accessed the sites you gave me, but cannot e-mail them on the addresses they give. Don't know why. My Spanish is reasonably good, so that's not a problem. The organiser is Manuel Rocas of the Spanish Napoleonic Association. Can you think of any way to locate him? Colin

Hello again.
I do not know why you can't E-Mail any of the adresses. Surfing at the pages, there are several ones (webmaster at jadgma@ono.com, association at asocnapoleonica@terra.es , or some of the groups involved). Or, another possibility: among their links (http://www.asocne.org/links.html), there is one to the (British) Napoleonic Association ... following it, there is a page (http://www.n-a.co.uk/spain1.htm) with an E-Mail for aditional information about events in Spain (including this one). Regards Ismael

Ismael,
Do you know, or does anyone else know, whether I can get from Barcelona to La Coruna by train without taking about 10 hours or more? Any alternatives? Coming originally from UK Colin

I think it is not possible (by train). Another possibility could be to use a plane: there are (relatively) cheap tariffs now.
