right again, what motivate you to visit Ayutthaya? Push factors from inside you or pull factors from the destination?

Can't think of any push factors. I suppose if you've been to Angkor prior to Ayuthaya, you might be slightly underwhelmed.

Ayuthaya is full of history with it ancient ruins, that should be enough to make you want to go an visit, if it dosn't why go to to Thailand in the first place.

"I suppose if you've been to Angkor prior to Ayuthaya, you might be slightly underwhelmed." I think just about any temple(s) would be underwhelmed compared to Angkor Wat.

Anyway, I visited Ayutthaya last year. Spent an afternoon riding a bicycle around the old temples area downtown (tip - don't do this unless you have some level of fitness as it's bl..dy hot). The next day I hired a trike driver to take me around to some of the current (colourful) temples etc that are located around the outskirts of the town.

Stayed at Luang Chumni Village, thoroughly recommend (see reviews on tripadvisor.com)

Apreciated to your answer.
I've never been to Ankor, but Ankor is greater than Ayutthaya. I have grown up in this ancient town " Ayutthaya " . no wonder why I had a question for visitors like that as I am a local. Just thinking about to do some research in the future :)
