Accomodation 12-17 April Milan or arround for 6 persons

I'm looking for an option to accommodate 6 people during 12-17 April (5 nights). Hotels are booked and prices are crazy. What is an option, villa/apartment for rent in or around Milan? Thanks!

I would say it depends what you are doing in Milan. If you are there for business you might have different necessities than for leisure.
If Milan is booked have a look at the surrounding places which are linked with the metro and outer Milan transport system.

Alternatively you could have a look at accommodation outside Milan, in Varese or Lodi or Como.

I don't know of specific Italian rental agencies but you can try www.homeaway.com or www.vrbo.com. I have used both in other countries and have had good luck.

oh my god. do check the earlier posts. i have had miserable time booking my hotels in milan. i am visiting milan from 11th-18th april 2011. its the week for the milan furniture fair. it seems that week is the most expensive through out the year.
i booked myself into hotel berna, its close to the city centre for 7 nights @ 360 euro per night per room.

there are cheaper options available, but too far away. try to book an apartment if your budget isnt too high. it should work i guess.
well anycase, since you are in milan that week, lets plan the VT meet

Milan furniture fair is indeed a major problem.
rentxpress.com is an other company renting flats in Milan.

It also depends on how much time you have. Bergamo is only about an hours train journey from Milan and a lovely city and will be much more reasonable. If you are on a really tight budget, check out the Central Hostel in Bergamo centre, on this site. It is only 56 Euro per night and very central for everything and the station. Trains from there to Milan are very frequent and quite cheap. Check out the hostel on www.booking.com and the trains on www.trenitalia.it.

Thanks, it's an impossible task :) It's for a friend going to the furniture fair. I guess Bergamo is the best option and a rental.

Hi I suggest you to search a hotel in the small cities araoud Milan .... is the cheaper solution, but be carefully that all this small cities are near the Ferrovie Nord (a private railway) or near a stop of the FS Statal Railway, just using a map of the city that you can search with google, you have a wide choice of locations and hotels
