Hi Satoshi,
It's hard to imagine what your vountry will go through in the coming months/years. This is life changing for all of you. We had our own disaster in New Zealand, but Japan has been hit a triple whammy with the Quake / tsunami / nuclear problems.
My fingers are well and truly crossed for all of you. Take care. Pam

Thank you all for the wishes.

Those tsunami videos are shocking. I can't believe, either. But, those situations are real. One of my coleagues' parents' house was in the area shown in those videos that the water washing the town away. At first she was just crying because she couldn't catch up with her parents to know if they were safe. A guy in the office told her not to give up and try everything that she could. She, at first, didn't think her parents could use internet and put their names "alive" on the person-finder board. But she tried and knew her parents were safe. They actually are not familiar to internet but a neigbourhood there where the parents escaped to a school gym up on a hill helped them putting up their names on the board on the net.

Today the victims there are counting 2000 and 20000 still unknown. Thank foreign crew from several countries, they seem very helpful.

The problems on the atomic power plants are serious. But the power company seems doing well not to let the plant buildings blown. Very limited toxic materials have released but totally the operations don't seem going wrong. As a result, this country have to abandon those equipments for health. That means we habitants are foreced to the shortage of every social supply for a while or long. We have to be patient.

I am so sorry that this is happening to your country. Thank you for posting this thread to make people aware of how to leave safely. It's dreadful that you have had a triple disaster. I do so hope that things are resolved as quickly as possible and that the rebuild starts soon. My thoughts are with all those families who suffered the loss of a relative.
