As a member of the Aberdeen North Stars who reside in Aberdeen, Scotland. We invited the Martini North Stars of Groningen to our tournament which was held at the Lynx Ice Arena in Aberdeen in 2004. They eventually won the tournament and in early 2005 they invited us to attend their tournament in Groningen. They also invited several teams from all over Holland to compete in the tournament. They also invited our friends from Clermont-Ferrand where we have also attended their tournament in recent years. This kind of tournament is basically for the love of the game. Dont get me wrong the competition is fierce but the partying seems to slow everyone down a bit. I always seemed to get back to my hotel after five in the morning.
