I fear that I already know the answer to this question, but is there any cool places to grab a drink in Taos after skiing? Any bands? Beer with atmosphere?

you can take a look at www.goski.com sometimes in the reviews places are mentioned as a good place to go for a beer and dance and to party.

There are a number of places to have a beer in the Town of Taos.
1. Start at Eskes Brew Pub. About half a block South of historic Taos Plaza. Some days with entertainment. Some food. 2. Alley Cantina off the NW corner of the Plaza. More food. Regular entertainment. 3. A more upscale downtown drinking place is The Adobe Bar at the Taos Inn often with entertainment. Many other choices. Email me or post if you need more ideas or other recommendations (I can direct you to the best in Taos). Don't forget, Taos Casino for the gamblers. Angel Fire or Sipapu for the snowboarders. Great hiking later in the year. White water rafting after April. Memorial Weekend motorcycle rally. Taos Music Fest in June. Taos Pueblo Pow Wow and Taos Fiesta in July.
