Which is the best month to see the wilderbeest in migration? Where are the best locations and how long should we plan on staying? eg 2, 3 or 4 days. We 'd prefer being based at a Safari Lodge. Thank you.

The best time would be between august and October. Stay there as long as possible. On the accommodation it depends on month of travel. If you intend to travel in August you should stay in the area of Kekerock and if you travel later you should go to Serena or Intrepids. Apparently if varies from year to year and sometimes never arrives. Depends upon the weather.

I was in the Mara Last year and we saw some of the best Wildlife in our life. We stayed at a newly renovated lodge called DR. Livingstone who had just reopened. It was fantastic. Although not located near a crossing site, the lodge was ideal to go an see all the wildlife. I have heard from friends that it is delayed this year and September should be a better time to go.
