Any one has good tips on renting a rural house with 3 bedrooms in either El Hierro or La Gomera for 3 months from dec 2010 to feb 2011? I am also considering house sitting, any offers? Also, how easy is it to buy a car there, because renting one for 3 months is even more expensive than buying... thank you all in advance, Helena

The houses you suggest are a bit too expensive and maybe I did not explain myself well, I was trying to rent from someone who has a holiday house there, not through agencies. I want to rent for 3 months min. so looking for a monthly rate.
Also the car I want to know how easy it is to buy one. To rent is £3000 which seems crazy so buying would be much cheaper. Any ideas?
