firstly hi ,

the usual question , we land in st lawrence gap 11th october for 14 days , what weather can we expect during our stay ?

we are staying at turtle beach , is the sea safe to swim in on this bay

we intened to bring BBDs with us what is the current rate over there , we are all inclusive but want to venture into the gap , what is the average beer prices and what would be the average spend on a night there WITHOUT FOOD

can you recommend any excursions or day trips ideal for the romantic hooneymoon couple ...lol

Cheers

Unless you are unlucky to have a hurricane during your stay (at the end of hurricane season, but Barbados is southern enough not to be much of a problem) weather should be marvelous----sometimes a shower in the afternoon but usually greast sunsets....Not sure what BBD's are.......Sea is very safe for snorkelling and swimming..........Have a Banks beer while there!!! (www.banksbeer.com)
Not been there but (believe it or not) heard that Bubba's Sports Bar is a hoppin place for nighttime fun.....

re the banks beers - much depends on where you get them.. in the store on the corner or the rum shops they might vary from 1.50bbd to about 4.00bbd. In restaurants and well known bars you will find Banks to be more.. Less than Heineken, but still not as cheap as before.

As said, mid October has been known to be rainy as it is still the hurricane season, but.. it's the luck of the draw.. it could rain.. it might not. just come and enjoy.

as for the exchange rate it's fixed to the US Dollar at approx 2 bbd to 1 usd (this is not the official exchange but most stores use this rate).

have a look at www.barbados.org to get an idea of what you would like to see around the island. I'm sure you hotel will have some different excursions on offer for you to go on.
