How Can I get from NYC to Ithaca on public transportation? I don't think Amtrak goes there.

No, you cannot get there via Amtrak but there is bus service on Greyhound (look at www.greyhound.com). By car it's about a 4-hour drive, which might be a bit longer on the bus.

The bus is the way to go. It usually stops in Binghamton and sometimes some places along the way in NJ. It takes about 5 hours including stops. Sometimes a little more. Is someone going to pick you up in Ithaca? If not, I'd look up the bus station and decide how you're going to get from there to your final destination. Depending on when the bus arrives, it can be a tad desolate!
