i would like to travel from acapulco to san miguel de allende and would like to know if a bus would take me there and possibly how long is the ride if there is one???

Hello! I don't think you'll find any buses that can take you directly from Acapulco to San Miguel.... I suppose your best and fastest option would be to travel to Mexico City and from here to San Miguel, but even that will be a little bit of a hassle since the buses do not depart from the same bus station.... the bus taking you from Acapulco to Mex City will arrive to the Southern bus station, while the one that takes you from Mex City to San Miguel will depart from the Northern bus station. and they're pretty far apart.
However, if you decide to make the trip, the bus coming from Acapulco to MC will take about 4 hours, and then 4 more to San Miguel de Allende, not taking into account the time it'll take you to move from one bus station to the other... good luck!

you'd be surprised... there might be estrella blanca to leon and then transfer for san miguel. or to toluca.
