Hello there!
I'm coming to Patras on December for Xmas. We'll be three people so i need a Taxi FROM PATRAS to pick us up from The Airport (Venizelos). And we are coming From Sydney. So if u please know a Taxi driver or u r a Taxi driver please answer this message. I'll ring the person to discuss further! Thank you ! |

There really is no need. Taxis are an extremely popular mode of transportation here in Greece, since they are so cheap. (Much much cheaper then australia, speaking from experience) So you are bound to find one at the airport without pre booking, and even if you have to wait, the wait wont be that long.
I hope you enjoy your holiday in Patra.

Ahhh taxi drivers, i swear sometimes they can be very entertaining but they would have to be the worst drivers in greece.

Istanbul drivers are worse than the greeks, I can swear that! Specially the taxi drivers!!

I have never been to Istanbul but it is close enough to greece...i think it is the climate....

Dear mate,
Have you ever thought of renting a car from Athens Venizelos Airport and arranging to 'hand it over' to their offices in Patras. Try one of the major companies: Avis, Hertz, Eurodollar, Europcar. Finding your way to the motorway to Patras may be a nuisance to you. Your last resort solution would be to negociate with a cab driver outside the airport. I wouldn't give more than 150-170 euros in total.
