The area that is the North Pole geographic and Magnetic are both under the control of Canada

are liveing in Svalbard about 1 hour fligth from the north pole and have never heard that the north pole was und control of canada, don't know if there are any company that arrange any trips to the north pole from canada, but from here the russians arrangeing flights up there , it costs about 100 000 norwegian kroners....from Longyearbyen.....you don't need any visa...

The magnetic north pole is near Resolute, on Canada's Devon Island (between Ellesmere Island and Baffin Island) in the Nunavut province. The geographic northpole is international waters, I doubt if it's really worth stepping on a layer of ice. I would travel to the far-arctic isles instead if I were you.
