Hi Ken
I would recommend the Kingmaker Feast, it's a medieval theme, more in keeping with a medieval castle
Also the Kingmaker is held in the undercroft restaurant (below the great hall in the castle), The Highwayman's Supper is in the stables restaurant (above the old stables) outside of the castle
There's lots more to do and see, have a look at my Warwick pages
My Warwick VT page is on http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/666cd/4a16e/
Also a good web-page on Warwick is http://www.video-images.freeserve.co.uk/Places_to_visit%20_in_Warwick.htm
As for camping, Warwick isn't well catered for, will you have any transport or will you be using the bus & train?
There's a Youth Hostel five miles out of Warwick, Camping ten miles out of Warwick, both of which are off the beaten path (transport needed)
Maybe a good idea to base yourself in Stratford Upon Avon, twelve miles down the road from Warwick, there's good camping and a train (and bus) between the two towns, lots to see and do in Stratford too, it's more geared up for tourism
Just to look at your other questions
The castle is truly superb!
Warwick is not the most atmospheric town, it's just a small place of about 29,000 people, it doesn't buzz with excitement but you'll enjoy it
Best wishes
Andy
