i will be in santiago at the beginning of april my boyfriend and i wanna take a night bus to puerto montt or puerto varaz. has anyone of you already done this?
also, we wanna cross into argentina from this area and go to bariloche. can u recommend any good bus companies to do this?

if you want to go from Puerto Montt to Bariloche one idea is to make the cross by the lakes with Andina del Sur. If you find the cross expensive you can take a regular bus and arrive to Bariloche by the other side of Nahuel Huapi lake; I did both and the views are really beautiful, take a look in my pages to see the pics

I have choosen the day bus because the beatiful view of the "Cordillera de los Andes" all the way from Santiago to Puerto Montt.

I am going to post a question about in which area should I choose an hotel in Rio with a ocean-front view. You live there so you should know!
Copacabana is too expensive!
What about Leme? Are there tourist facilities (restaurants, shops, etc.)? Is it a safe area?
We are not so young so we are not looking for nightclubs or disco!

hey, i think u should go to a place next to my house. I live 1 block from the beach, and there is a hotel near the Meridien, called Acapulco, where u can stay. it's cheap, but clean and u can have ocean view, too, cos it's at the corner with meridien Hotel. This place is very safe, too.

i know this place, all my friends and relatives stay there when they come to see me, so i can assure u it's a very good location and safe. Plus, u get a huge breakfast.

From Puerto Montt to Bariloche you can take the TAS CHOAPA buses from the Puerto Montt Terminal. About 4 days a week.
