Puerto Rico Culebra Ferry
Posted: Wed December 31, 2003 11:46 PM UTC
Hi everyone,

I am trying to look up ferry times to the Island of Culebra from Puerto Rico. All of the sites that I am finding only list about 3 times during the day in which the ferry runs. To plan a daytrip; the only possible way it appears that I can go is to leave at 9:30 am and leave at 3:30 pm!!! This only gives us a few hours on the beach. Do any of you know a better way to get there and stay longer without spending the night?]

Note: We're leaving this weekend, so quick feedback would be very helpful!

Thanks,
Mark

You can fly from either san Juan or from only $20-$25 from Fajardo.

On the weekend, the ferry leaves Farjardo at 9AM and you can catch the return trip at 4:30.

Or you can go to Vieques instead? The beach is just as beautiful and less crowded. You can leave Fajardo at 6AM and return at 3PM on weekdays or 7AM/4:30PM on weekends.

So there really isn't a way to visit the illuminescent bays at evening without staying on the island?
