Our hosting provider had a power outage for the last 3 hours. The site is starting to come back up, but will likely take a little time for everything to be working... as desired.

I have been trying on and off for a few hours and was just about to call my provider when I was able to get in--things are slow though but now I know the reason I will be patient.

Dorrise, you can always check other websites and if they work ok then no need to call your provider :-)

Thanks Pam,but I couldn't get into any other site and thought it was a local outage and just as I was about to ring my provider--presto all was back on--then when I came onto VT I noticed I was unable to read my email and went into the tech site to see if anyone else was having problems and read Todds notice.So just doing a thankyou to VT for asking us to be patient.

oh wow that's a coincidence that your provider was down at the same time as VT's service provider in the US :-)

My dashboard is "On Vacation". Well, I even out my notices later.

Were the new weekly rankings calculated last night or .... ?

One of the features not up yet is the e-mail. When I click onto it, it takes me to the new membership form.

Emails are ok, but Members Online list is blank ..

I have tried to leave a comment on a member's page but it is not registering. If I click again on "leave a comment" I see my text there, everything seems ok after I submit, but when I refresh the page it is not there.
Is it due to the outage?

I think the servers are not syncronised. It appears that input to the site takes a while to show up.

Pam, I have received a notice that you left a comment on my hp, but the comment is not there to be seen. Indeed it seems a sync problem.

I tried posting a couple of comments but they haven't appeared.

There's clearly still a few minor issues - members online on the VT Homepage is still out. Time to give the servers a hug!

Hey Todd! Just a quick update from a user perspective. I was on the VT HP a few minutes ago and it listed 111 new members today - now its down to 105. Also, still saying 0 online. I know you guys will still be working on things.

We had some database syncing issues which should now be "mostly" resolved.
Just a few straggling issues related to some equipment that died.
