Where are the best places to start looking for an economical flat in central Valladolid? Is there a significant reduction in cost for an unfurnished place? What are the normal rental periods and do all owners normally require a deposit? Any other useful info/warnings please? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the other questions, but probably the most economic place around the center would be the area around the "Plaza Circular". Usually a deposit equivalent to 1-2 months of rent is required.
