Myself shall visit Nepal soon. I will go by air from Calcutta to Kathmandu. During return, I have plan to come back by road from Pokhra to Gorakhpur.
Pls inform, Pokhra to Gorakhpur KM distance by road. Also pls inform, shortest good route including Key places between Pokhra and Gorakhpur, by road and time taken for such journey. If night journey possible or not. Good transporation (including rented car) availability along with yr advice for fare charges. Also pls about advice safe road journey in this route. Any recomendation is welcome. Pls come back urgently. Regards SBC |

from Pokhara to Gorakhpur , it is a distance of 283 km long. You can see Palpa/tansen , a nice newari village . it is the most stand point to see the 3 geographical differences of Nepal : Terai, Maountains & Himalaya Car can be hired $60 to the border only then you can take taxi Rs650 to Gorakhpur. another way you can take Local Bus to sonauli from Pokhara & then other bus to gorakhpur If you want to break the journey , it takes you two day to come to gorakhpur. other wise you can get to Gorakhpur on the same day pls write to me if you like more infos regards
