Charleroi Missing in Amsterdam/Brussels/Charleroi
Posted: Sat December 20, 2003 07:21 PM UTC
Hi

My name is Rob. I am looking for information about my Brother Eddie, who has been missing since Tuesday 16th December. He was last heard of in Amsterdam and was due to fly back to Dublin from Charleroi Airport on Tuesday, but he did not make his flight, and has not been in contact since. He may have visited Brussels after leaving Amsterdam. He is 31 years of age, medium build, dark brown hair about 6 ft tall. There is a photo of him at this page http://www.geocities.com/rob_s_smith2001/eddie.jpg

If you have seen him or know him please could you mail me at rob_s_smith@hotmail.com as it is unlike him to be out of contact and his family are very worried.

Thanks
Rob Smith

Rob, I can understand how worried his family must be. Hopefully there is a reasonable explanation for all this.

It reminds me of when my son did not come back from a trip to Costa Rica on the day we were expecting him. I was frantic...called airlines, friends etc. As it turned out, he had made a mistake in his departure date and showed up 2 days later.

I hope it's something this simple for your brother. I would try to contact all of his friends, who he stayed with and anybody else who could help me track him down. If it's really not like him to go without contacting his family, then I would be very concerned and call the police department and hospitals.
Please let us know when you hear from him. OK?
Take care.
Jeannette
