Pamporovo is right inside Rodopi mountain.

these may be of help ( www.goski.com )
also look here for information on the places you will be visiting. ( www.towd.com ) if you will be using a three week or longer rail pass in europe. you can check to see if they still will put together a package of booklets on the places you plan to visit if you give a list to the tourist office at a train station there. and then pick up the package in your name next day or so when you are in a big city. with a big tourist information office at the train station. or close by.
